2012 January Watercolor classes. Nice Marks!

OK, so we aren't going to cover a whole wall as the street artist Banksy did in this photo in London (which evolved into a church window with the help of black paint and a less famous grafitti artist)
BUT! We are going to work with blocks of intense color and apply loose gestural marks to our watercolors and see if we can come up with our own homage to street art, to Raoul Dufy…
OR Matisse…
OR…David Hockney…
Whatever we come up with, it will be fun and slightly wild and our very own quirky view of the universe.
