Pataha Creek and Autumn Willows

I've just finished a couple of paintings inspired by the creek that runs through the back yard of my childhood home.  The willows, always gorgeous with their flickering silver sided leaves, are now yellow and chartreuse.  Their leaves drop brilliant lances into the tea colored water and whirl in the eddies.  The red willow roots can be seen at the edges of the creek, just under the water, and wave like scarlet yarn in the currents.
