Flowery Horse
My client at The Ruins dining club asked me to paint this life sized French thoroughbread a rich metallic gold, then decorate him with tiny flowers. Originally, the paper mache horse had been part of Yves St.Laurent's fashion show as it toured the U.S., and at the end of the show in Seattle, the solid white horse was left to moulder in the old Fredrick and Nelson Department Store basement. My client rescued the horse, had me paint it and placed it in The Ruins entry hall.
